Effective date: October 8, 2026
Big Sherbert LLC provides this notice for health-related information we receive through website or email support and purchase verification. It supplements our Website Privacy Policy and NicNope Privacy Policy. It does not mean we receive the quit profile stored only on your device.
Information and sources
Ordinary technical support does not require private health details. If you choose to include them in a support request, we may receive information about nicotine use, quitting, symptoms, health conditions, treatment, or medication, linked to your contact details. The source is you and any message or attachment you send.
Purchase verification. Purchase and verification records may also reveal use of a nicotine-cessation app. They come from NicNope and Google Play, and include purchase references, signed receipts and tokens during verification, purchase status, and related technical records. Our verification database retains hashed purchase references and status rather than raw receipts or tokens. We use these records for purchase delivery, restoration, refunds, fraud prevention, and support, not advertising or health profiling. Google Play and Google Cloud process this information; the NicNope Privacy Policy explains the data flow, retention, and purchase-record deletion requests.
We do not obtain your local NicNope quit profile merely because you visit the website or contact us. Please do not post health information on the public visitor map.
Purpose and recipients
We use health-related correspondence only as needed to respond to the support you requested and to meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use it for advertising, sell it, or use it to infer health profiles from your browsing.
Authorized personnel and providers that host the website, store or deliver email, or maintain those systems may process correspondence to provide those services. These are the categories of recipients; the information involved is the support content and associated contact and technical records. We do not share it with affiliates or other third parties for their independent marketing.
Where applicable law requires consent for collection or sharing beyond what is necessary to provide the service you requested, we will obtain that consent first. Publishing this notice does not itself constitute your consent.
Retention and requests
We retain health-related correspondence only for as long as necessary for the support purpose or a lawful retention requirement. Send requests to ContactUs@BigSherbert.com. Identify the correspondence concerned without sending unnecessary health details. No new account is required; we may take reasonable steps to verify your request.
Where applicable law gives you these rights, you may ask whether we collect or share your consumer health data, access it and information about recipients, withdraw consent, or request deletion. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising those rights.
Washington requests and appeals
For requests covered by Washington’s My Health My Data Act, we respond within 45 days, with one additional 45-day extension when permitted and explained. Deletion includes notifying relevant recipients and addressing backups within the law’s deadlines.
If we deny a request, reply to our decision or email ContactUs@BigSherbert.com with the subject Privacy appeal. We will explain our appeal decision within 45 days. If an appeal is denied, we will provide a way to contact the Washington Attorney General to complain.
Changes and contact
We will update the effective date and post a notice of material changes. Where required, we will obtain consent before collecting or sharing additional categories or using health data for new purposes.
